Inspired by her love of small-town living, the author (Sharon E. Jellel) wrote this book about a group of townspeople in the little village of Chevel, who come to the aid of one of their own. Sharon was born in Clintwood Virginia. Located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, Clintwood represents a slower lifestyle with simplicity and charm. Sharon now lives in Massillon, Ohio with her husband (Douglas) of 41 years.
She attends Cornerstone Baptist Church in Massillon, where she has taught Jr. Church with her husband for more than 30 years. She has 4 children and 6 granddaughters, who are all named in the book. Sharon feels that children’s books should be filled with adventure and fun — not bad guys and scary monsters — and should always have a happy ending. This is the second children’s book that she has published “Fillmore The Frog Catches The Fly” (2012).
