This book is about a close-knit village called Chevel, just inside the city limits of Kyelry County, where people enjoy peace and quiet, beautiful scenery and a slower lifestyle. The townspeople get involved with projects to help improve Kyelry County and come to the aid of one of their own. Mrs. Mogami lives in a small cottage where she feeds the deer, birds and other animals who frequently come to visit her. She wants to get involved in the community project but is unable to do so because of failing health. She finds 6 amazing friends who not only show compassion to her but convince her to enter a project that would help the village of Chevel. Together with her newly found friends, they came up with several projects. In the end, Mrs. Mogami not only wins the contest, but finds hope and purpose as she begins teaching the townspeople how to grow beautiful flowers, how to cook healthy meals and how to care for the sick.
Inspired by her love of small-town living, the author (Sharon E. Jellel) wrote this book about a group of townspeople in the little village of Chevel, who come to the aid of one of their own. Sharon was born in Clintwood Virginia.
